Heart Party

Eva and Daddy went to their first Father/Daughter Valentine's Banquet at church today; or as Eva called it "the heart party"!!

Nothing sweeter than Daddy and his girl!!

My PRINCE did come…

his name is DADDY!!

Eva had a great time at the event.  There were games, snacks and cupcakes.  Her favorite part was painting a handheld mirror as a party favor.  

Basketball

Nicholas has decided to give basketball a try this year.  He's playing on a city rec team with nine other boys from his school.  Their team is named The Rockets and Nicholas is wearing jersey number 1.

This is the first time one of the boys has ever played basketball and I have to say it was very nice to be playing an indoor sport on this 34 degree morning!!

Unfortunately the other team did not show up for our first game so the boys played each other; which turned out to be great practice for them all.  Nicholas is playing on the visitors team.

 

  

 

 Final Score...Great Job Visitors!!  So proud of Nicholas!  He played a great game; covered his man well, clean dribbling and excellent passing.  Look forward to the next five weeks of play.

I still look at her in amazement of the little girl that she has become!!

Pigtails!!

Eva has been waiting a long time for her hair to be long enough to wear "piggie tails" and today we were finally able to get it up!  Oh my, how they completely change her look!!
