It was the perfect time to go outside and play with sidewalk chalk. Eva really didn't like the mess that it left on her hands and after only a few strokes was more happy to watch the rest of us do the drawing.
We were also able to take in a local college football game. We were concerned before going how Eva would do with the crowd and noise, but she loved it, especially the halftime show!
We spent a morning with friends exploring our local Children's Museum. Of course, Eva loved the food and she wasn't convinced it was pretend until she took a bite out of a lemon!
She has now also enjoyed her first taste of a chocolate chip cookie!!
Unfortunately our cool weather didn't last too long, but we are still trying to enjoy fall-like activities. Just today, we visited a pumpkin patch with the MOPS playgroup.
Lastly, I have to leave you with a video clip from our lunch yesterday at a habachi grill. I'm sure that I have mentioned in older posts how Eva loves food. Just say the words "eat" or "snack" and she becomes giddy. Now, I have proof...Enjoy!!
It's so good to see Eva doing so well! I just showed Sophie the pictures of Eva. I wonder if she recognizes her. Sophie was in foster care for a while but I know she was at the SWI for a while, too.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the video is so funny! Can we transfer some of Eva's enthusiasm for food to Sophie? We have to coax our little one to eat.
Take care!
